Only Oliver Zeidler, three-time World Champion in the single sculls, has secured his spot, training diligently in Italy. The remaining German Olympic hopefuls are now converging in Ratzeburg/Hamburg for the Olympic Trials until March 22.
Tomorrow, March 19, kicks off with a grueling 2000m ergometer test in Ratzeburg, pushing athletes to their limits. After a training day on March 20, it's game time in a "Best-of-Three" format for men's double sculls and men's pair. For women, it's about securing tickets in the coxless pair, single sculls and lightweight double sculls.
Action shifts to Hamburg-Allermöhe on March 21 and 22, with the W8+, M8+, W4-, M4-, M4x, and LGW M2x battling it out in 2000m races. Stay tuned as Germany's finest rowers vie for their chance at Olympic glory in Paris! 🇩🇪🚣♂️
